Saturday August 8 from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM Youth: Drawing Natural Forms (Ages 10-17)

Discover the joy of drawing by looking closely at the beautiful world around you. This
beginner-friendly course teaches you how to draw flowers, leaves, and outdoor
textures through simple, step-by-step guidance. You will learn to see and sketch the
basic shapes that make up plants and flowers. We will also explore the fun, repeating
patterns found in nature, like the shapes on a leaf or the layout of petals. Finally, you
will learn how nature mixes colors beautifully and how to recreate those color
combinations yourself.

The course ends with an exciting, stress-free final project. You will use easy acrylic
painting techniques to combine your drawings, patterns, and colors into one beautiful
canvas painting to take home.
